Professional Philosophy:
Individuals experiencing ideal emotional health acknowledge fully their thoughts and feelings. This self-awareness fosters a wide variety of behavioral choices to cope with life’s challenges. The health of each individual can then support a couple’s relationship and ultimately the family.
Therapy of choice:
A primary focus of mine is working with adults dealing with depression and anxiety symptoms. These issues are often complicated by life’s stress and adjustments. Healing the symptoms along with developing problem solving strategies often go hand-in-hand to provide resolution and relief.
“Happy families are all alike; every unhappy family is unhappy in its own way” open Leo Tolstoy in Anna Karenina. This truthful quote also applies to couples and the complex issues I relationships. I have a special interest in providing couples with a safe place to understand each other’s thoughts, feelings and behaviors. A cornerstone of this work is learning and applying healthy communication skills to facilitate healing, resolution and growth.

Professional Philosophy:
“The human being has an inbuilt propensity toward self-realization.
If obstacles are removed, Karen Horney believed, the individual will
develop into a mature, fully realized adult, just as an acorn will
develop into an oak tree.” Irvin D. Yalom, M.D.”
Personal thoughts of therapy:
Dr. Del Hudson has had extensive
personal and professional psychological training and experience. Since
1979 she has worked throughout the country wit children, adolescents
and adults of all ages, cultures and nationalities. Treatment
modalities include Child/Adolescent Play Therapy; Individual; Couples
and Family Counseling/Psychotherapy. Dr. Hudson’s clinical
approach in facilitating the individual’s “human-growth-potential”
involves removal of the unhealthy cognitive/behavioral obstacles caused
by both conscious and unconscious inner conflicts. Removable of
these obstacles allows the individual to function toward their full
“self-realization and wholeheartedness.” This goal is
accomplished within an empowering, optimistic, and trusting,
therapeutic-relationship in the treatment process.
Her clinical expertise is in helping people with issues such as but not limited to: Obsessions and compulsive behaviors, Anxiety and panic states, Phobias, Depression and suicidal thinking. Eating disorders, Communication problems, Social difficulties, Marital and family problems.

“Living is both a problem to solve and a mystery to enjoy.”
Therapy commitment
My passion is for the purity and poetry of individual persons. I try to help people understand that both personal past and historical past inform who we are and how we respond to life challenges. I prompt them to realize that we are more than what has happened to us … we are more than our present “problem”. I value journeying with people as they form themselves into fuller human beings who are at home in their physical, sexual bodies and at home in the everyday world.

Professional Philosophy:
I see myself as a motivator and educator. I encourage you to embrace the ideas of personal wellness, truth and self care, and then teach you how to apply these ideas to your life. Therapy is a combination of healing old hurts, moving past them, and learning skills to make changes in your thinking and behavior that will improve your outlook and relationships..
Therapy of choice:
I teach cognitive techniques to adults, children and teens to help them conquer anxiety and depression. These skills become a “bag of tricks” they will have at their disposal throughout their lifetime. I am especially happy when a person who has been suffering tells me how much the techniques have helped them. I look at the whole person - diet, activity level, health/physical wellness, relationships, past experiences and future goals when I evaluate an individuals needs and plan for treatment. I believe it is the combination of a number of therapies and lifestyle changes that makes the most positive impact on my clients’ personal success and happiness.
Joseph P. Kochansky, MA, Licensed Psychologist

Professional Philosophy:
“We humans are built to survive by loving, laughing and tinkering. We are tougher than think”
Therapy of choice:
My passion is found in helping children build resilience - The ability to bounce back from difficult situations. I teach a practical problem-solving schema that can be used to address any life issue, any emotional monster they may face. I search for each child’s unique talents, strengths, and abilities, then encourage them to met tough challenges designed to build their sense of pride and competence. Nothing tops the satisfaction I feel when children I have counseled walk taller, believe in their ability to succeed, and passionately grasp life.

Professional Philosophy:
“You have come here to find what you already have.”

struggling with issues and difficulties that hinder us from enjoying a
fulfilling life. My goal as a therapist is to promote your emotional
well being by guiding you through these challenges by using your

Jesslyn M. Koloras, Psy.D., Licensed Psychologist

Professional Philosophy:
Have the courage to take responsibility and change what you can, and have the faith to embrace what you cannot change.
Therapy of choice:
My passion is to work with children and families as they face a wide array of challenges that grows wider and more complex as we evolve as a society. There continues to be a growing number of children and parents who need support to cope with and adapt to life in blended families, balancing the demands of two parents working outside the home, increasing academic demands, the complicated nature of the internet and electronic “communication”, and the high anxiety level of many families facing economic hardship. I have a great deal of experience working with children of various ages who struggle to manage their family, academic and social lives. I have served as a support bridge between these worlds and often assist communication and cooperation among parents, teachers, coaches, doctors, and other service providers. I believe it takes a comprehensive approach to support a family and I work to accomplish that, whether it be through comprehensive psychological evaluation, collaborating with school personnel, consultation with medical providers, and/or providing family therapy sessions. I have the expertise and the conviction to reach beyond the standard psychotherapy process to ensure the client is surrounded by resources to meet all their needs including, but not limited to, emotional well-being.
Katie Bugbee, Ph.D., Licensed Psychologist

Since that time, Dr. Bugbee has worked in a variety of settings (e.g., outpatient clinic, private practice, school, medical, managed care) and roles (e.g., primary clinician, multi-disciplinary team member, consultant) as a psychologist, which has allowed her to develop a strong knowledge base and broad range of clinical skills. Dr. Bugbee has worked with individuals across the age range, from toddler to senior, to address a variety of presenting problems (e.g., school difficulties, acting out behavior, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, phase of life concerns, etc.). Professional Philosophy:
“A strong psychotherapeutic relationship is at the core of healing and change.”

Therapy of choice:
As a therapist, I employ a warm and interactive style in my approach to therapy. I seek to connect with each client in a way that makes them feel comfortable, safe, and understood. I will listen to your concerns and help you work toward your goals, whether those goals have to do with improving relationships, increasing your self-esteem, managing stress and/or anxiety or just to be there to listen and understand the struggles you may be facing.
Leslie A. Munson, LCSW
Masters’ of Social Work, Widener University
Professional Philosophy:
“Life is hard, but not hopeless.”
Therapy of choice:
My goal as a therapist is to help people develop skills so they can recognize in themselves anxiety, anger, guilt, negative self-talk and other destructive behaviors. With this knowledge they can begin to forgive, become free of worry and learn to stop beating themselves up. Additionally, my role is to assist people as they realize that though they cannot change what has happened to them, and they cannot change people, they can learn to change themselves. As this process unfolds, relationships can be restored and a true quality of life can emerge.
My skills and training include working with people who suffer from chronic medical issues, with a particular interest in cardiac patients. I am passionate about helping to reduce the stress and anxiety suffered by those living with pacemakers and defibrillators. Additionally I treat individuals suffering from eating disorders, women's issues and gay and lesbian concerns. I am sensitive to issues of spirituality, specifically Christianity. I serve the population of individuals, couples, families' adolescence and the elderly.
